Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team during the Singapore 7s

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach, Gareth Baber says the focus is on making a good start in the HSBC 7s Series as Fiji aims to win the Dubai 7s for the first time since 2015.

Baber says it is important to have a perfect start so that it can set the team up for the rest of the season and push the team in the right direction.

He adds it is about getting their game plan right and if this happens he believes that they will be able to win any tournament that comes their way.

Baber says he will take 14 players to the Dubai and Cape Town 7s and he is expected to name the team by the 1st of next month.

Fiji is pooled with France, Argentina, and Japan in the Dubai 7s which begins on the 6th of next month.
