Fiji Tourism Exchange expects a record of one million visitors this year

The Fijian Tourism Exchange is expecting an anticipated record of one million visitors this year, the Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Viliame Gavoka have emphasised the abundance of opportunities for growth and collaboration in the coming years.

While officiating at the Fijian Tourism Exchange (FTE) 2024 in Denarau Nadi, Gavoka says tourism is important to us, to our economy and to our people and he urges sellers to take advantage of this opportunity to share their story.

He also reminded the buyers that the industry has worked hard to give the customers the best of where happiness comes naturally.

He adds as we navigate the complexities of modern tourism, we must preserve our pristine natural environments and unique cultural traditions for generations to come.

Gavoka also highlighted Fiji's dedication to sustainable growth, cultural celebration, and international collaboration in the tourism sector and emphasised the pivotal role of tourism in Fiji's economy, highlighting the country's commitment to excellence in hospitality.
