The Fiji Taxis Association has rejected comments made by People’s Democratic Party leader Felix Anthony that taxi drivers have allegedly been forced to stick the Fiji First Party banners on their taxis.
Association General Secretary Rishi Ram said he has not received any complaints from their members.
Ram said if taxi drivers do put stickers or banners on their taxis it is up to them as that is their property.
PDP leader Felix Anthony in a press conference in Lautoka yesterday claimed that they have received complaints from some taxi drivers that they have been forced to put up party stickers and banners on their taxis.
Fijivillage asked Anthony to provide us with evidence of these claims.
He said that he only heard this claim from some taxi drivers however he cannot reveal the names of the drivers.
