Following the Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 side’s second win over Australia yesterday, hopes are high now that the Fiji Rugby Union will provide programs for most of the players that will keep them within the Fiji Rugby system and develop them for the future.

Coach Ratu Peniona Ranitu says they are just hoping that they get these players into a training program so that they are not lured by overseas contracts.

He says if some of these players are offered overseas contracts that will benefit them, then it is good for them.

He adds otherwise, these players need to be in a program that helps prepare them for the Fiji Under 20s, Fiji Warriors and also the Fiji Water Flying Fijians.

The Fiji Schoolboys made a clean sweep against the Australia Schoolboys in the two-match series beating them 26-14 in the first game and 34-25 in the second match.
