The Fiji Roads Authority is working to complete their ongoing streetlight projects along Kings Road by the middle of this year.
These areas include Queens Road, Wainibokasi as well as parts of Suva which includes part of Queen Elizabeth Drive, Gladstone Road, Cakobau Road and Edinburgh Drive.
Areas in Labasa and Savusavu will also get streetlights.
General Manager Electrical Musheer Khan says this is by far the largest streetlight project to be undertaken by the FRA.
Khan says that upon completion of this project, there will be a total of 3,736 streetlights installed around the country.
