Police Director Planning, SSP Aporosa Lutunauga making submissions with the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence has been told by the Police Director Planning, SSP Aporosa Lutunauga that the Fiji Police Force needs its own complex built to the ideal purposes of policing.

He was responding to a concern by the committee on the safety and security of the Police Headquarters in Laucala Beach.

Lutunauga also said that any Police Force worldwide would pride itself in having its own headquarters but while the Police Commissioner is thankful, he is by no means comfortable in the current location.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence was taking submissions on the Fiji Police Force Report from August 2016 to July 2017.
