Fiji Pearls head coach Unaisi Rokoura has selected her final 15-member squad for the upcoming 2023 PacificAus Sports Series with the inclusion of three new players.

The squad was selected after the three days Tri-Series tournament in March where selectors assessed players throughout the tournament.

The three new players that will make their potential debut for the Fiji Pearls are Ana Moi, Solei Toganivalu and Shaid Sasalu.

Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster says the Tri-Series provided invaluable match-play opportunities for the players, and they are looking forward to the PacificAus Sports Series and will continue their build-up towards the Netball World Cup in July.

The Fiji Pearls Team selected are Unaisi Rauluni, Lydia Panapasa Seru, Jimaima Kete, Maria Rusivakula, Ana Moi, Navinya Sivo, Kalesi Tawake, Josephine Nailumu, Sereana Maragi, Reama Verekauta, Vakaoca Bolakoro, Solei Toganivalu, Shaid Sasalu, Ana Nauqe and Elina Drikibau.

The series will also be more competitive this year after the inclusion of three African teams Kenya, Malawi and Zambia.

The 2023 PacificAus Sport Series will be held at Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre from the 24th to the 29th of this month and will see a total of eight teams competing this year.
