The Fiji Pearls started their Pacific Netball Series campaign on a high after defeating Singapore 67-52 in their first match last night at the Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
Fiji started the first quarter well holding a 17-12 lead and extended the lead to 36-27 heading into halftime.
They continued their dominance in the third quarter as they took a 56-37 lead.
Singapore tried to fight back in the last quarter but was not enough as Fiji held on to claim the win.
In other results last night, Samoa defeated Namibia 55-47 and Tonga defeated First Nations Aus 62-50.
The Fiji Pearls will now take on Samoa at 5pm this afternoon in their second match.
