The Fiji Museum and the Grand Pacific Hotel in an exciting illustration of a new relationship signed a MOU in a bid to improve service delivery where guests can anticipate a wealth of culturally enriching experiences at Grand Pacific Hotel Suva.
The collaboration solidified a commitment to promoting arts, culture, and heritage in the heart of Suva.
The Chairperson of the Fiji Museum, Kate Vusoniwailala says the partnerships reflect the values of both establishments.
Vusoniwailala says they are thrilled to be part of the signing because it reflects the tangible expression of the strong community values that the Grand Pacific Hotel has with the community.
She says the community can enjoy through curated packages for the museum and the GPH the awareness of cultural practices, objects, and systems through mutually beneficial activities and publications.
Portfolio General Manager for GPH Lachlan Walker says the amazing partnership with a museum with such great history and a hotel with great history is indeed an honour.
Walker says they are aligned in preserving the history and keeping what they have which is in line with what the Intercontinental Hotel Group journey is about which is supporting local communities.
