Footage has emerged of the hard work that the Fiji Military Force are contributing towards the Australian Bush fires.
In a tweet from Australian Minister for Defense Linda Reynolds the RFMF and the Australian army have dug a trench to open the mouth of the Snowy River at Marlo.

She says this trench will allow ash and debris from the fires to wash out of the river system.
However, in line with this deployment abroad, the RFMF is also currently assisting the Fiji National Disaster Management Office with current tasks post-Cyclone Sarai and Tino and they are also on standby for future tasks within Fiji should the need arise.
