The Crest Fiji Men’s Netball team have booked their spot in the final for the Men’s Netball Nations Series after defeating England Trailblazers 62-27 in the semi finals.
This is the second time Fiji has defeated England in the same tournament after beating them 47-36 during the pool stages.
Fiji Men’s Netball team Head Coach Jioweli Makare says the players have sacrificed a lot to be in the final, and playing against top nations that have the facilities and play constructive ball game, was a challenge his players have overcome to be in the final.
He says they are looking at the combinations and the line of players they have to play in the final and try to maintain what they have done so far through-out the tournament.
Makare says they have finalised their structures and the players are very excited to hit the court and they are exhausting all stratergies to keep the players focused on the task at hand.
In the first semi final, Australia U20 beat New Zealand A 75-36.
Fiji will play Australia A in the final today.
