Fiji Men’s soccer team settle for bronze at Pacific Games

The Fiji Men’s soccer team have beaten Papua New Guinea 4-2 on penalties to settle for bronze at the Pacific Games.

The match ended in a one all draw and penalties were required to find the winner.

Papua New guinea took a first half lead before captain Roy Krishna equalized in the second half.

Meanwhile, the competition has finished at Pacific Games.

Looking at the medal tally, Fiji is fourth with 35 gold, 38 silver and 46 bronze.

New Caledonia finished first with 75 gold, 54 silver and 51 bronze, Papua New Guinea  is second with 40 gold, 57 silver and 34 bronze.

The closing ceremony is later today.
