The Rugby World Cup Sevens is here and our Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team and the Fijiana 7s team are ready to take on the world with an aim to make history by winning both titles this weekend.
It has been 17 years since Fiji last won the prestigious Melrose Cup and Fiji Men’s 7s coach, Ben Gollings says they are ready.
The Fiji Men’s 7s team will begin their campaign in the Round of 16 against the winner of Wales and Korea match at 4.05am tomorrow.
If Fiji wins, they will qualify for the quarter-finals where they will likely meet either USA or Samoa.
Meanwhile, Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli is looking forward to unleashing the Fijiana after their second place finish at the Commonwealth Games.
Fuli adds that they want to win the World Cup.
The Fijiana will take on Japan at 11.17 tonight.
They are likely to meet either France or South Africa at 7.05am Sunday.
