With the third leg of the 2024/2025 HSBC SVNS World Series kicking off in Vancouver next week, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side is working on their micro-communication knowing the challenge is getting tougher tournament by tournament.
Coach Osea Kolinisau says one thing they talked about as a team after the Perth 7s is their communication and that is one of the reason they did not fire in Perth.
He says they also talked about their consistency and adds they can do well one week, and then get knocked out the following week if they do not take their opportunities.

When asked about their pool in the Vancouver 7s, Kolinisau says they will take one game at a time as the team is at the big stretch for the series at the moment and it will be a good buffer for them if they get a step ahead right now.
He says their target is to win the Vancouver 7s, but it goes back to winning each game before that.
He adds they are not taking anything lightly, they are halfway again, and that is something the players are looking forward to.
The Vancouver 7s will be held from next Saturday to Monday 24th of this month.
Fiji will take on Uruguay at 7.18am next Saturday their first pool match, they will then take on the USA at 12.45pm on the same day, before playing Spain at 6.52am next Sunday in their last pool match.
The men’s cup quarter final will kick off at 12.51pm next Sunday, the cup semi finals will begin at 8.30am Monday 24th February, and the Cup Final will kick off at 1.05pm.
