Fiji Men’s 7s to open Hamilton 7s campaign against France

The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s side will meet France in their first match of the Hamilton 7s this week.

Fiji will take on France at 8.32am Saturday, then they will play Kenya at 12pm Saturday and face Cape Town 7s champions Samoa at 3.06pm Saturday in their final pool match.

The Men’s quarter-finals will start at 9.58am Sunday, the semi-finals will begin at 1.48pm Sunday, and the final will be played at 6.56pm Sunday.

Meanwhile, Coach Ben Gollings has named his side for the Hamilton and Sydney 7s, headlined by two-time gold medallist Jerry Tuwai, making a return to sevens duties.

Other players include Josua Vakurinabili, Jeremaia Matana, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Josese Batirerega, Tira Patterson, Josevani Soro, Filipe Sauturaga, Waisea Nacuqu, Pilipo Bukayaro, Iowane Teba, Manueli Maisamoa, Vuiviawa Naduvalo, and Alasio Naduva.

The Hamilton 7s will be held this Saturday and Sunday.
