Most of the gold medal winning Fiji Men’s 7s team players have been reunited with their families after completing their 14 days quarantine in Nadi.
Players and officials have been away from their families since April when the COVID outbreak began and they moved into camp to prepare for the successful defence of the Olympic 7s title.
Fiji Rugby Union CEO, John O’Connor says Jerry Tuwai, Asaeli Tuivuaka, Semi Radradra and Iosefo Masi travelled with the officials to Suva today.
The Western-based players were also reunited with their families.
Meli Derenalagi was accorded a traditional welcome by his village in Nawaka, Nadi.
O’Connor also confirms they are applying for passes for Radradra, Masi and Sireli Maqala so they are able to travel to Vanua Levu.
