Good News for those people looking to get a masters in their Maritime Studies.
The Fiji Maritime Academy will be introducing a ‘masters course’ into their learning curriculum from next year at its Laucala Campus.
This was confirmed by the Maritime Academy during the tour of the Maritime Academy facilities and classrooms by the Assistant Minister for Environment, Vijay Nath at the Maritime Careers Expo at the Fiji Maritime Academy.
They say that the reason for the new courses was to help lift the standard of Fiji’s maritime industry to that of international standards.
They add that it will also enable students to be qualified to work in any shipping agency in the world.
The Academy says that it will also spark more interest in the upcoming generation as this will be a career helping course.
