The Fiji Fashion Week will start next Friday and the hype is on cloud-nine.

These were the words of the founder of Fiji Fashion Week, Ellen Whippy-Knight while showcasing a sneak peek of collections of the fashion designer’s hard work with a mini fashion show at the French Residence last night.

The theme for this year is based on environment.

Whippy-Knight says that each year the industry flourishes and thrives to showcase something bigger and better.

She says that with designers from Fiji, India, New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia they hope to raise awareness in the country that fashion and designing has a future as well.

She adds that with 25 designers and 74 models, they are ready to rock the stage from Friday.
