Fiji Fashion Week will be presenting the Gold Couture show tonight.
It will be the final show of Fiji Fashion Week’s 10th Anniversary.
9‑year industry veteran and local Rachel Fairfax will open the show with a collection that is different from previous years.
Elaine Taylor, owner of popular fashion boutique Aladdin's Cave, will also present her chic and edgy collection inspired by Shanghai.
Fourth generation Fijian Robert Kennedy's Henikai collection is returning to color‑infused, relaxed, wearable designs with a floral Indian and Fijian theme that is sure to intrigue fashion lovers in Fiji.
Also returning to the Fiji Fashion Week runway after a break is Aisea Konrote of Hefrani who will be showcasing high end couture.
Fiji‑born Hupfeld Hoerder will be closing the Gold Couture show.
Hoerder who has worked in the fashion industry for over 25 years will be showcasing a collection Bohemian Rhapsody that incorporates authentic fiber with westernized design and embodies all that is Pacific and beautiful.
Tonight, Fiji Fashion Week will also present the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Council of Fiji's Designer of the Year Award, the Diet Coke Special Achievement Award 2017, the Bottega Gold Textile Designer of the Year Award, and the Pacific Building Solutions Model of the Year.
The Fiji Fashion Week Gold Couture Runway show will be start at 7 tonight at the Vodafone Arena.
