The Fiji Football Association will resume with the Digicel Premier League and Digicel Women’s Super League as soon as it gets the approval to resume football without spectators.

President, Rajesh Patel says their priority will be these two competitions and then they will look at whether they will be able to hold any major soccer tournament.

He says they also have to be mindful that they have to prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Patel confirms all registered footballers around the country have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and they expect all players to be fully vaccinated by this month.

He says they will be ready to resume football by 1st October without spectators.
