Fiji Day celebrations in Samoa will be held at the newly opened Taumesina Resort in Apia today.
Chairman of the Samoa Fiji Day Organising Committee, Joe Suveinakama says they are expecting about 300 people to attend the celebrations which will include the Fiji Bati after their game against the Toa Samoa this afternoon.
Suveinakama says their theme for the celebration is a strong region can only mean a stronger Fiji.
The Fiji Day celebration in Samoa is sponsored by Samoa Stationery and Books.
They gave $2000 to support the event.
