The Fiji Corrections Service has handed over a cheque of $3850 to the Prime Minister's National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund.
The donation comes from the sale of artwork and paintings at the 'Stronger than Winston Art Exhibition' that was held in August at the Tagimoucia Gallery in Korovou.
The exhibition was a joint effort by the Wildlife Conservation Society and Fiji Corrections Service aimed to support rehabilitation efforts post‑TC Winston and also created awareness on the protection of our natural resources.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama thanked the Corrections Services for the contribution and says this will certainly go towards rebuilding the lives of those Fijians devastated by the cyclone.
