People affected by TC Yasa and Ana can expect more assistance as the Fiji Corrections Service has donated $10,000 towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

Corrections Commissioner Francis Kean says the donation is from the officers of the Fiji Corrections Service and their prayers are with the affected families and also those involved in the rehabilitation efforts.

Kean says he hopes all rehabilitation efforts will be successful and those affected will be able to rebuild their lives.

While receiving the donation, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama acknowledged the donation and adds the assistance will go a long way in improving the lives of those Fijians affected by the cyclones.

Bainimarama adds rehabilitation works in affected areas are well in progress and the government will ensure that the necessary assistance reaches the doorsteps of those in desperate need.
