The Fiji Bati will open their campaign against rivals Samoa in the Downer World Nines in October.
The tournament will be the first of its kind, with twelve international teams all set to compete for the major prize.
In other mouth watering clashes on the opening day, Australia will face New Zealand, England take on Wales while Tonga meets the Cook Islands.
Fiji play Tonga and Cook Islands in their remaining group games on day two.
Fiji are in group C with fellow Pacific Islanders Tonga, Samoa and Cook Islands.
Group A includes Australia, New Zealand, PNG and USA while Group B will include England, France, Lebanon and Wales.
The two highest‑placed teams from Group A will progress to the semi‑finals alongside the winners of Groups B and C.
The tournament kicks off on October 18 in Sydney, Australia
