The Fiji Arts Council has launched their official website, www.fijiartscouncil.com.fj.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Mereseini Vuniwaqa launched the official website at the Fiji Museum this morning.
Vuniwaqa says the intention of the Fiji Arts Council is to sell the artifacts online through this website.
She adds that the remarkable work of the Council in promoting the talents of local artists has been evident in major events for the Fijian Government.
Vuniwaqa stated that the Council has been engaged in various activities to encourage and promote the works of the artists and craftspeople.
