Fiji Airways have just announced their first ever nonstop flights from Nadi to one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, Fort Worth Airport in Dallas, Texas from December 10th.
Fiji Airways CEO, Andre Viljoen says this new 13 hour nonstop service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on their Airbus A350-900 XWB.
Viljoen says introducing a new route is really exciting.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad says this new route will connect Fiji with the North American market. Fiji Airways Board Chairman Nalin Patel says this new route is more than just another flight path as it will boost the number of visitors.
