The Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s team hopes to improve their performance at this year’s Oceania Rugby 7s Championship after finishing 3rd in the tournament in New Zealand last year.

The team will be looking to rise to the occasion this weekend and claim gold.

Coach Ben Gollings have selected his best team with a mix of young and experienced players in the squad.

The players will also want to prove their worth this weekend to earn a call up into the team for the upcoming Dubai 7s and also the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Fiji Men’s 7s will take on Niue at 4.56pm today before playing New Zealand later at 9.42pm.

They will then play Oceania at 3.12pm and will wrap up their pool games against Australia at 6.52pm tomorrow.

The Men’s semi-finals will kick off at 3.28pm Sunday with the final kicking off at 5.18pm.
