The Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s side recently received a timely boost in their preparation for the upcoming tournaments, including the Pacific Games in November hosted by the Solomon Islands and the 2023-2024 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series as Neptune Pacific Direct Line provided a 40-foot container to store essential training gear and equipment at the Fiji Rugby High Performance Unit (HPU) based in Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
Coach Ben Gollings thanked NPDL for this timely support and says it is great for the team as it has provided the much-needed storage they have been wanting.
He says it eases the means to house things and move between training sessions, which is great for them as a team, and they really appreciate it.
NDPL managing director Eddie Yuen says their support for the Fiji 7s team goes beyond just the game as it reflects their commitment to the spirit of Fiji rugby and the extraordinary potential of the athletes.
Yuen says the passion and love that the people in Fiji have for the game are truly unparalleled and by providing extra storage space for the team’s gear, NDPL is helping them focus on what they do best which is playing world-class rugby.
NPDL is proud to be part of the Fiji 7s preparations and wishes the team all the very best in their upcoming games.
The Pacific Games will be held next month and the 2023-2024 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series will be in Dubai from 1st - 3rd December.
