“I did not know the good bye said by my son on Friday morning would be forever.”

These are the words of David Simmons the father of six-year-old Reginald Simmons who lost his life in a road accident.

David said he still cannot believe that his son is not with them today.

He said that every Sunday morning the whole family would attend church but today they left home without him.

Meanwhile, the bus driver has been questioned and released in relation to the accident.

Divisional Police Commander North Senior Superintendent, Shiri Singh Says they are awaiting the post morterm to be carried out on Monday before they can lay any charges.

The 6-year-old boy was hit by a bus as he was crossing the road along the Waiqele Airport Road at about 4.30pm on Friday.

He is alleged to have crossed the road in front of his school bus and was hit by another bus travelling in the same lane.
