The thousands of screaming fans will not affect the Digicel Fiji 7s team this weekend.

National Skipper Lepani Botia told irb.com, they know that the capacity at the Luzhniki Stadium is over 80,000.

The 25-year-old former Naitasiri Secondary School student from Naivucini added they are focusing on their first game against Tonga.

Botia also said the 1997 and 2005 World Cup wins are history now.

The Fiji 7s team will have its captain's run later today.

Fiji will play Tonga at 12.28am this Saturday in their first pool match of the 7s World Cup.

We then take on Uruguay at 6.28pm Saturday and Fiji’s last pool match is against Wales at 12.42am Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals start at 9pm Sunday, the Cup semis kick off at 12.40am Monday while the World Cup 7s final will start at 4.55am Monday.
