Fans have started to flock into Churchill Park in Lautoka as gates are now open for the final round of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and the Melbourne Rebels this afternoon.
A few of the fans shared their stories on today’s trip to Churchill Park and also their opinion on today’s must-win match for the Drua.
A Fijian Drua fan, Kiran Lata from Navo, Nadi says she was hoping her husband would give her money for her ticket, and when put on the spot he quickly nodded his agreement.
Another Drua fan, Timoci Stewart who brought his son Mosese accompanied by his classmate Jone says he thinks Drua fullback Ilaisa Droasese will score the first try of the game.
Stewart says he is hoping they can go one better this year and reach the semi-finals but they have to win today's game first.
Meanwhile, former Flying Fijians winger, Nemani Nadolo says it is an important game for both teams especially the Drua who need this win to progress to the playoffs.
Co-commentator and former Waratah and Force lock, Sam Wykes says it is also an emotional one for the Rebels who will not be returning to the competition next year.
The Fijian Drua versus Rebels match will kick off at 2.05pm.
