Families stranded at Nabouwalu Jetty after Interlink Shipping cancels service to Natovi

Many Families and individuals are currently stranded at the Nabouwalu Jetty after they were told by Interlink Shipping Line Limited this afternoon that the Company had cancelled their service to Natovi for today.

FijiVillage was informed by a passenger that the company had not properly informed them prior to cancelling the trip as people had already spent money for their trip from Labasa town and their fares to get to the Jetty.

They were told that the reporting time was at 3pm this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Interlink Shipping has confirmed to FijiVillage that the trip has been cancelled due to rough seas and they will resume sail once it has cleared and it is safe to travel.
