Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya said he is determined to make sure that more Fijians benefit from the growth of our nation’s economy.
While making his inaugural speech in parliament, Koya said he believes in empowering the grassroots communities and encouraging rural development to bring more people into the main stream economy.
He said his first priority as minister is to ensure that Fiji’s trade policy framework is endorsed by cabinet and lodged immediately to get all sectors of the economy working closely together to achieve our common goal of growth and development.
