South Africa winger Cheslin Kolbe says the defending champions' opening Rugby World Cup clash with Scotland will be a final for them.

Kolbe says the match against Scotland will be a final for them because they are in a difficult pool.

He says they will focus on their preparation for this important match as they want to make their country proud and create memories.

Coach Jacques Nienaber says Scotland is ranked fifth in the world, and they know what the Scots are capable of, so it is vital that they hit the ground running.

South Africa will face Scotland in Marseille at 3.45am next Monday.
