The Fiji Women's Crisis Centre has come to the aid of the woman who claims she needs urgent assistance after her husband allegedly attempted to rape her 11-year old daughter.
FWCC Coordinator, Shamima Ali says they are working with the Ministry of Women and have provided the woman with groceries and counseling.
The woman who lives in Suva claims her husband was the sole breadwinner for the family and is in remand at the moment.
She says her husband is not the biological father of her daughter.
The woman claims she and her daughter are finding it very difficult to cope and are going through a lot of financial difficulties.
She says she used to work as a caregiver but lost her job after the first case of COVID-19.
