Fiji Rugby Union has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Fiji Kava,to ensure that Fiji Rugby gains access to premium kava supply which will be used to support physical and mental recovery.

FRU Chief Executive Officer, John O’Connor says representing Fiji is one of the proudest moments for players, however competing against the world’s best teams on a regular basis does present quite significant physical and mental challenges.

O’Connor says in Fiji Kava, they have found an ideal partner to provide the team with safe, premium-quality kava supplements and relaxation tablets which will assist them with muscle relaxation, restful sleep and recovery.

He says they are extremely excited to begin their partnership with Fiji Kava as their product guarantees that they are able to provide Fiji’s rugby community with a consistent, sustainable supply of quality kava.

Fiji Kava is an Australian-Fijian medicinal kava health and wellness company which produces natural noble kava products for the complementary and alternative medicine market.

Founder and CEO of Fiji Kava, Zane Yoshida says they are honoured to be chosen as Fiji Rugby’s exclusive kava supplier and to give Fijian rugby a unique competitive advantage when it comes to the mental and physical recovery required to play at a high level.
