Fiji Rugby CEO John O’Connor has resigned from his post effective immediately after serving 6-years in this role.
O'Connor thanked the FRU board members, unions, management, staff, and sponsors for their support over the past six years.
He urged the Fiji Rugby staff to continue with the good work and keep moving the sport of rugby to another level.
Fiji Rugby Chairman Humphrey Tawake has announced that Tevita Tuiloa will be the Acting CEO.
Tawake says Tuiloa comes with a lot of experience in domestic and grassroots rugby since being with Suva Rugby for the past seven years.
He says the position of CEO will be advertised soon.
