FRU AGM gets underway to elect new board

The Fiji Rugby Union Annual General Meeting is currently underway at the Grand Pacific Hotel to elect a new board.

The election of the new board is crucial as failure to do so could see Fiji being suspended from participating in all levels of rugby.

The nominees listed for the Commercial Director’s board position include Isaac Mow, Jay Whyte, John Sanday, Kitione Nadaro, Mark Evans, Semi Lotawa, Stanley Simpson, Tevita Tuiloa and Tony Ram.

The candidates for the Women’s Director’s board position include Cathy Wong, Koila Siqila-Kabu and Laijipa Naulivou.

For the Rugby Director’s board position, the candidates include Conway Beg, Ilivasi Tabua, Kolinio Sewabu, Laijipa Naulivou, Mataiasi Nabau Saukuru and Vilimoni Delasau.

The candidates for Legal Director include Ana Tuiketei, Isireli Fa, Mele Rakai and Mosese Naivalu.

The candidates for Finance Director include Anare Manulevu and Napolioni Batimala.
