The Fiji Rugby Football Union Board was just trying to make sure that there wasn't any undue influence on any of the voting during the election of the Fiji Rakaviti Football Union Limited Board members today and that is why none of the nominees were allowed to attend the Annual General Meeting today.
This was highlighted by FRFU Trustee Peter Mazey when asked by fijivillage News why the nominees were not allowed to attend the meeting and make a presentation on why they should be elected.
Mazey says during the elections, the politicians do not usually stand around waiting to do a presentation.
Member of the FRFU Board of Trustees, Jenny Seeto says they had asked the nominees or the candidates to provide a write-up on themselves and it was on the circular that was handed out to the attendees of the AGM today.
