The Fiji Roads Authority has sustained around $20 million worth of damages due to Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Acting CEO Kamal Prasad says this is based on the initial damage assessments.
Prasad says damages in the Northern Division was around $10 million, $5 million in the Western Division, $3.5 million in the Eastern Division and $1.5 million in the Central Division.
He says they are currently in the process of conducting repair works such as clearing trees, reinstating road approaches and addressing coastal damages.
No time frame has been given as to when repair works are expected to be completed.
