FPRA Music Awards is back after three years.
Fiji Performing Rights Association Director, Eremasi Tamanisau says this year’s event is a significant one as it gives artists and composers proper recognition of their hard work.
Tamanisau adds the pandemic has brought about innovations of new taste of music from new and young musicians, artists and composers who have taken Fiji’s music to another level.
The FPRA Music Awards will be held on 1st October at the Grand Pacific Hotel with nominees announcement to be made on the 17th of this month.
Communications Fiji Limited will be sponsoring the Most Popular Song award, Software Factory will sponsor the Best Hip Hop Song award, New Methodist Christian Fellowship will sponsor the Best Gospel Song award while Capital Insurance will sponsor the Best New Artist award.
Tickets will be on sale from August 28th.
