Years of hard work and passion for electronics will finally pay off for 21 year old Diptika Vandana Sharma who will be one of the 524 students graduating from Fiji National University today.
Approximately 524 students from Fiji National University's Ba, Lautoka and Nadi campus will be graduating this hour.
Diptika is the youngest of three sisters and is the daughter of a cane farmer who lives in Lousa, Tavua.
Diptika said when she was at primary school she used to take the whole remote control gadget apart to see how they could make changes from the original make adding that she is happy that she is graduating today.
The graduation ceremony starts at the FNU campus in Lautoka this hour.
