Members of the Fiji National Provident Fund who applied for the Cyclone Winston Natural Disaster Assistance and opted for cheque payments are advised to collect their cheques directly from the banks from today.
FNPF Chief Operating Officer Jaoji Koroi says no fee will be charged for the collection of these cheques and when members cash their cheques.
Koroi says this follows an agreement with all commercial banks in Fiji.
Koroi says members need to produce a valid photo ID to collect their cheques and also to cash these at the commercial banks.
Koroi says they will continue to print the list of members whose cheques are ready for collection and have these posted at the FNPF Boulevard.
Meanwhile, as of yesterday FNPF has received 91,805 applications.
