FNPF declares 5.25% interest to be paid into members accounts

The Fiji National Provident Fund board has today declared a 5.25 percent interest for the financial year ending 30th June, 2011 with an estimated $135 million payout to members’ accounts.
FNPF Chief Executive Officer, Aisake Taito said the interest will be credited to members’ accounts tonight.
Last year the Fund paid out an interest of 5 percent totaling $121 million in payout to its members.
FNPF said despite the economic challenges faced in the year, they are please to be able to announce a relatively higher positive return.
