FNPF conducted retirement counselling that aims to assist members with retirement plans and to ensure they make the right decisions based on the information provided.

This was highlighted by FNPF CEO Jaoji Koroi at the first Fiji National Provident Fund Retirement Counselling Session held at the FNPF Customer Services centre, Downtown Boulevard, Suva.

The one-to-one session for members between 45-54 years is the first such session and will be held on the last Saturday of every month.

Koroi says the session allowed members to get a projection of their balance when they reach retirement age, based on their current contribution rate as well as projections based on additional contributions.

He says the sessions were aimed at having individual discussions with members regarding their retirement savings.

He adds they are starting these sessions in Suva and based on the feedback and turnout, they will look at holding similar sessions at other centres.

FNPF will also have Retirement expos next month in Ba and it is a continuation of the program we started last year to allow our members to talk to us about their retirement plans.
