FM96 Qiri Kava competition a new feature at Fiji Showcase

People taking advantage of the 160 booths at the Fiji Showcase.

With 4 more days remaining for the biggest trade and entertainment show in the South Pacific, people who have never been to Fiji Showcase and those that go every year will be blown away by the various quality products, entertainment and features available at the family event.

Heading into day 6 of Fiji Showcase the FM96 Qiri Kava competition is another feature that will begin at 6.45 tonight at the Vodafone External Entertainment Stage.

FM96 Programmes Director and Breakfast Show host Tony Rahiman says that this is something new for the family.

11 teams will be taking part in the FM96 Qiri Kava competition.

Rahiman adds that the first four teams that will be taking part tonight are Naroi gang, Vale-ni-cina 2, Heavy Metal Crew and Wai 2 which is a team from Wailoku.

The winner of the Qiri Kava competition will win $1,000 and the runners up will win $500.

The FM96 Qiri Kava competition will begin at 6.45 tonight.

Looking at other entertainment today, the Children’s program will be at 4pm, Australia’s most loved contemporary clown Christof will perform at 4.45pm and 7.15pm, the unique metro Maori fusion entertainment group JGEEKS will perform at the Vodafone external stage at 5.45pm and 8pm.

The Character Parade that features some of the children’s most loved characters such as Ben 10 and Dora will be performing at 6.15pm.

The Viti FM Bogi ni Vude with Seni Lagakali kei Koroilagi will be at 7.15 tonight.

Fiji Showcase will open at midday today at the Vodafone Arena and close at 9 tonight.

It will run till this Saturday.
