The Chief Executive officer of the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority, Tevita Banuve has refused to comment on his resignation after handing his letter to the FIRCA board yesterday afternoon.
When Village News reporters went to his home for an interview, a depressed looking Banuve only said that he had no comments to offer.
Meanwhile, FIRCA board chairman Filipe Bole when asked on Banuve's resignation, said it is his decision to resign as he was being hassled for quite some time.
Bole refused to comment further on the matter referring all questions to Banuve.
