The Fiji Islands Maritime Safety Administration board has directed Bligh Waters Shipping not to operate its inter-island vessel, MV Suilven until further notice.
This after the vessel encountered engine problems early this week while on its way from Savusavu to Suva.
FIMSA Director Josateki Tagi said they have told the Bligh Waters Shipping management that they have to fix its engine problem before the go ahead is given.
Bligh Waters Shipping General Manager Abraham Simpson has confirmed the directive saying that their engineers are working on the problem.
