About 60 students from 30 schools in the Central Division gathered today to participate in the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption's annual Young Leaders Seminar at the Lami Convention Centre.

The event focused on empowering young minds through the digital literacy concept to fight corruption, with a strong emphasis on fostering integrity and transparency.

FICAC says it is vital to shape young leaders who can resist unethical practices and lead honestly in their communities.

They further say the youths make up nearly 40 percent of Fiji’s population and the seminar targets a crucial group that will soon take on leadership roles throughout Fiji.

FICAC adds equipping students with essential skills and values will build a generation that will stand firmly against corruption and work towards a more ethical society.
