FCCC conducts 1,374 inspections since 20th April

Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has conducted a total of 1,374 inspections in the Central, Western and Northern Divisions. [Image: FCCC/Facebook]

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has conducted a total of 1,374 inspections in the Central, Western and Northern Divisions since 20th April.

92 inspections were conducted on Wednesday where 42 were for stock and supply surveillance, 49 were for COVID-19 safety measures while one was for business assistance.

All 49 traders inspected for COVID-19 safety measures were found to be practicing safety measures when inspected.

The FCCC have been on the ground conducting inspections for stock and compliance with COVID-19 safety measures since the measures were implemented.

They are also in regular communication with the Fiji Sugar Corporation and respective traders to provide assistance in normalizing sugar supplies.
